This emotion filled wedding is spectacular. Britt and Sam were amazing to work with and it is perfect that their fabulous day is being featured nationally on Style Me Pretty. Calendar for a Cause…Blue Skies!!

For the 3rd year, we are joining the fight to help children with cancer and their families by teaming up with The Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa. The Children’s Cancer Center is a non-profit organization that is completely dedicated to providing children who have cancer or chronic blood disorders and their families with educational, emotional and financial assistance to help them move forward and beat the odds! With a team of some of the best special event vendors in the industry, we are throwing this year’s Calendar for a Cause at the Tampa Yacht Club on May 15. Guests of the event will enjoy an evening filled with fantastic entertainment, auctions, fantastic food/drink, a behind the scenes look at the children and the planning, and the reveal of this year’s calendar. Childhood Sweethearts to Happily Married!

“Love with all of your heart and live with all of your heart”

Rachel and Pete had a fabulous wedding starting with the ceremony at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ybor and the lovely reception at the Marriott Waterside! The moment we met this wonderful couple, you could see the love between them. And it’s no wonder- their romance started when they met in middle school! With years of memories, Rachel and Pete incorporated so many special elements into the day that were unique to their love. One of our favorite elements to the day was the sweet letters written by their parents that were read during the ceremony. What a special gift to the newlyweds! This truly is a relationship that has stood the test of time even before the marriage began. The strength of their commitment to one another is apparent in their wedding day celebration. Capturing their love on film was a gift to us!

A great soundtrack to our film shoot: Jazz singer Shawn Paris

Monday we had the wonderful opportunity to shoot a concept film for the extremely talented Orlando based jazz singer Shawn Paris
We worked together with Shawn to set up an entire day of shooting first at The Abbey and then in beautiful Hidden Garden of Winter Park. Shawn’s performance included professional dancers, amazing lighting and a dozen personal touches that will make his concept film his best marketing piece.

While the perception is that we only shoot wedding films, we actually shoot and edit many concept films for businesses as marketing pieces and commercials. These days no website is complete without a video and what better way to market a jazz singer than by showing his potential clients his unbelievable talent!

Stay tuned for his concept film but in anticipation, check out the fabulous photos shot by Covert-Elite. They shot photography for the day and caught a behind the scenes view of Voila Cinematic on the job!

Camille and Kostas: A good deal turns into Ideal

In the words of the beautiful bride “Get ready and Get excited!”

We had the honor to work very closely with Camille and Kostas, to get know them in a way that translates brilliantly in their wedding film. Having met with Camille and Kostas several times before the big day we were able to cultivate a friendship and gain insight into where they came from and how they would move forward as one. From our meetings, we knew that there would be a lot of emotion on the wedding day. The closeness that Camille and Kostas feel for their families was to be a key focus of the film and on the day of the wedding, they did not disappoint. Their film became dialogue led as we edited because they had so many amazing sound bytes with their family members that we wanted to include. The easiest part of the day was capturing the love between Camille and Kostas. This is no ordinary love but something incredibly special. You can see it in their eyes!

The story of how Camille and Kostas became a couple and then became family was an amazing journey! We hope you enjoy hearing their story as much as we loved capturing the greatest day of their lives and making two very good friends in the process.

Gasparilla King's Dinner: A Tampa Institution

What an incredible honor to have been a part of such a Tampa Bay institution as the Gasparilla King's Dinner! This year's event honored the businessman and arts benefactor David Straz and his court and was held in Mr. Straz's backyard, The Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Under the coordination of the amazing, Sarah Fairbairn of One Fine Day, the Straz Center was transformed.
